National Society for Medical Engineering and Biological Technology (SNIMTB)

To take part in the biomedical engineering development, implementation, and promotion policy in Romania.
To collaborate in the coordination of the professional training activities for engineers and technicians in biomedical engineering.
To stimulate the creative scientific initiative in the field of medical and biological engineering.
To organize national and international conferences.
To encourage international cooperation and to collaborate with similar national and international organizations, pursuing the development of biomedical technology and science.
To stimulate and collaborate in the publication of professional articles, research reports, journals, and books in its field of activity.
To take part in improving the curriculum for those interested in studying medical and biological engineering.
To provide support in the development of laws, regulations, and standards that address the development and use of biomedical engineering.
To generate and disseminate useful information to the medical, technical, and biological communities.
